This is the begin of a list that you might find useful when translating recipes into Irish. Give it a go, it's a lot of fun.
Beginner's Tips
Write down all the words of your ingredients. Also, have the words for your utensils ready. The latter will get easier, as 'saucepan', 'oven' etc keep repeating themselves.
Now take a look at the lists below, and fill in your nouns - you should be able to form simple sentences very soon. Keep them short wherever you can, it makes translating a lot easier (and will also help those who are using your recipes).
